Seeds, Jewellery, Trees and Energy: Jessica Matignon’s Luminous Journey

I consider myself fortunate, and I feel deeply grateful to the Divine. I have a beautiful life, I am healthy, and the Universe has surrounded me with wonderful people. Trees, especially, have led me to some of my most precious encounters—and Jessica is one of them.

I met her during one of my spiritual forest therapy training sessions in Nantes. These weeks always feel outside ordinary time, filled with the presence of trees, the transformative power of nature and the warm support of the group. Jessica’s light quickly illuminated the week: sunny, funny, finely sensitive… and exceptionally gentle.

Sometimes we meet people who seem to have been shaped by kindness itself.

Jessica is one of them.

Warm, thoughtful and deeply authentic. Everyone should have a Jessica in their life—or at least meet one, if only to restore their faith in humanity.

Today I’m delighted to introduce her. Through her energy practices and Micro-Massage® sessions, her jewellery made from natural stones and seeds that she gathers herself, and her intuitive relationship with the plant world, Jessica has created a delicate and vibrant universe.

I’m very happy to share this encounter with you.

Enjoy the interview! 🌿✨

Sow and water the seeds of happiness

Clotilde Rolland: Hello Jessica, and first of all thank you for agreeing to this interview! I’m excited to get to know you even better and introduce readers to your many beautiful facets 😊

To begin, could you introduce yourself?

Jessica Matignon: I’m Jessica MATIGNON (née AUDOOREN). I was born in Touraine and I still feel deeply attached to our forests, which calm and restore me. I’m highly sensitive, discreet and guided by gentleness. I love helping others, listening and accompanying people with kindness along their path.

I’m certified as a Micro-Massage® practitioner, and I have also trained in Lahochi, crystal practices and forest therapy.

I describe Micro-Massage® as a gentle, relaxing manual practice drawing on magnetism and energy-based osteopathic approaches. In my experience, people seek it to ease discomfort, lighten emotional tension and restore a sense of energetic balance.

CR: As a child, you were already extremely sensitive to energy. How did you experience that? Can you describe it, and when did you first realise you had this sensitivity?

JM: I’ve been very sensitive to energy since childhood, and my grandfather encouraged this sensitivity by introducing me to nature. Very early on, I felt a particular connection with birds, which I experience as bringing subtle signs and messages.

CR: Was there a turning point in your life—a meeting, realisation or even a difficult experience—that made you understand your path would involve energy work and connection with the Living World? How did that moment change your direction?

JM: There were several turning points. My own health difficulties first confronted me with my limits and encouraged me to listen more deeply to my body and energy. Discovering Guadeloupe through my husband was a real awakening: the relationship with nature, the rhythms of life and the power of the elements affected me deeply. Finally, the burnout I went through was decisive. It made me understand that my path would involve energy practices and connection with the Living World, and it gave me the strength to change my daily life so I could accompany others with sensitivity, gentleness and kindness.

CR: Micro-Massage®, energy work, forest therapy and personalised jewellery made from natural stones and seeds—so many talents! Is there a common thread behind all of them?

JM: Yes. The thread connecting all these practices is relationship with the Living World and the circulation of energy. Whether through Micro-Massage®, energy practices, forest therapy or jewellery made from stones and seeds, my intention is always the same: to listen, feel and create a relationship with nature and the energy I perceive around us. Each practice offers a different way to support wellbeing, awaken the senses and help someone reconnect with their own vitality.

CR: When I discovered that your jewellery was made not only with stones, as is often the case, but also with tree seeds, I loved the idea! You gather the seeds yourself and choose the stones that inspire you. Could you describe your creative process? How do you know when a material ‘calls’ to you and becomes the starting point for a piece of jewellery—or perhaps even a session?

JM: For me, every piece of jewellery begins with an encounter with the material. The seeds I use are always collected from the ground, never torn from trees, or I take only those that are already ready to fall. Once gathered, I dry them in sunlight, drill them one by one and sand some of them to create unique textures and shapes. With stones, I choose those that resonate with me and with the energy I want to convey. The process is both intuitive and meditative: each material guides and inspires me. Every creation becomes a bridge between nature, the energy I feel within it and the person who will receive it.

CR: Trees are how I met you 🥰 and you were a particularly gifted trainee! Could you tell us how you experience your connection with Plant Consciousness, and what you hope to offer people through forest therapy?

JM: Thank you, that really touches me! For me, forest therapy is above all a silent dialogue with trees and the Living World. When I connect with what I call plant consciousness, I listen to the energy of each tree, its vibrations and what I feel it may be expressing. It happens through sensation, observation, sometimes touch, or simply by spending time near the tree.

What I hope to offer through this practice is a space for reconnection: finding calm, feeling vitality, reawakening the senses and intuition, and remembering that we belong to something larger. Trees can then become guides and allies, and each encounter may become a source of balance and renewal.

CR: If you could share one message with highly sensitive people or those seeking greater energetic wellbeing, what would it be? And where would you like to take your work in the years ahead?

JM: My message would be to allow yourself to feel fully, and to welcome sensitivity as a treasure rather than a weakness. Reconnecting with yourself, the Living World and your own inner energy can support a sense of balance, confidence and serenity.

In the coming years, I would like to keep developing my work around connection with the Living World and energy practices, creating spaces and experiences where people can reconnect with their senses, nature and their own light through forest therapy, sessions and my creations in stones and seeds.

As I often say: “Sow and water the seeds of happiness.”

My dear Jessica, thank you from the bottom of my heart for agreeing to this interview!

I’m always touched by the trust people place in me during training, and it feels natural to highlight luminous people like you.

You are an extraordinary practitioner. Jessica offered me an energy session during training when my back was painfully locked up; for me, it made an enormous difference to that week.

For all of that—your kindness, your joy and your many talents—thank you, thank you!
